3 February 2013: Tring, Ivinghoe Beacon and Aldbury

Today’s walk was a bit challenging but very enjoyable with great views from the escarpment . Two prospective  members Alan and Kate came and braved the mud and wind on Ivinghoe Beacon.

We had a welcome lunch at the Bridgewater Monument and then a relaxing walk back through pretty Aldbury village. Probably a bad choice by me for this weather —  I managed to fall over twice in the mud.

Many thanks to Alan and Kate for help with navigating . Looking forward to our navigation lessons.
