This walk was led by Don, with Jonathan his only companion.

The Lea, and the Cock and Rabbit

They stopped for lunch at the Cock and Rabbit, and as it was just the two of them they both had pasta, the pub being run by an Italian family.

The walk ended in Wendover, where they found a new and excellent tea shop.

They both had a cream tea

It is eight miles or so from Great Missenden to Wendover, so they must have done some walking, but when interviewed by your reporter all they could remember was the food.
