11 August 2013: Otford, Shoreham, Eynsford

Otford 2Otford 1
Five of us plus Woody walked a beautiful route from Otford to Eynsford via the furthest reaches of the solar system. We had seen the model of the planets and sun in a playing field at Otford before but this time we found Uranus by a bus stop and Pluto (pictured) in a field some 20 minutes away. We had lunch by the river Darent in the pretty village of Shoreham, then passed Lullingstone Castle and Roman villa to catch (or for some of us, just miss) the train home.
