10 November 2013: Wadhurst circular

On an unexpectedly glorious autumn day, four of us plus Woody did a lovely circular walk round Wadhurst on the Sussex/Kent border. Inevitably it was a bit of a mudfest and there were some fallen trees to negotiate. But the leaves are now in full autumn colours compared with only a couple of weeks ago. The nice tea shop I had promised was disappointingly closed, and it’s a bit of a long trek back to the station from the village, but apart from that it was a lovely day out.
