17 November 2013: Wimbledon Park to Richmond

The walk on Sunday, led by Liz Kingston-Smith, was part of the Capital Ring walk, from Wimbledon Park to Richmond. 7 miles of quite easy walking through Wimbledon Park, Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park and along the river to Richmond. There was an opportunity to do a slight detour and call into the Buddha Padipa Temple in Wimbledon suburbia between the park and the common, where there was a festival on Sunday.

On the way

On the way

[And that is a classic example of posting the walk announcement, changing the future tense to past. If anyone knows what actually happened, let us know.]
