26 January 2014: Ashtead Common

On the same day some of the club’s most experienced moutaineers decided to give up on North Wales and just go home (see below), but Annie and Jonathan were made of sterner stuff and completed a short walk near Epsom.

It rained continuously, and Annie commented afterwards that four miles felt more like ten.
