20th July 2014: High Wycombe to Marlow

Don led four of us (plus a walker from another club who decided to join us at Marylebone) from High Wycombe to Marlow. At the start we found ourselves on the route of the Wycombe Half Marathon (going in the wrong direction), but then soon found ourselves in beech woods and rolling hills, with beautiful views accompanied by numerous kites (the feathered kind – Don corrected my misidentification of them as buzzards). We ended following the Thames to Marlow, and tea at Burgers.
