14th December 2014: Richmond, Richmond Park and Petersham

The first of the 2014 “mince pies” walks was a short-ish circular walk led by Sarah  through Richmond Park. We had lunch by Pen Ponds and admired the carefully preserved view of St Pauls through a gap in the trees King Henry’s mound, in the grounds of Pembroke Lodge.

We stopped off at Petersham Nurseries for tea and cake — they didn’t have mince pies. — and then made our way back to Richmond station along the river.
