23rd January 2015: Tate Modern

A small group of 4 met to eat at Leon before visiting Tate Modern for the Friday night late opening. The food was tasty and very reasonably priced and the restaurant uncrowded and not noisy, so a good choice for Friday night. Humphrey was too tired after a week’s work to visit the Tate, but Sara, Sheila and Veronica had a look at the gallery called “Energy and Process” which we found fairly baffling. More interesting was Louise Bourgeois “Works on Paper” in which she responded to events in her own life. We then retired to the Members’ Lounge for tea and chat, before heading home.
