A group of 6 walkers ignored the early fog and caught the train to Great Missenden for an 8 mile walk through the beech woods and fields of the Chilterns. By the time we began the walk the sun had come out and the sky was blue. It remained that way until we arrived at Wendover soon after 4pm. The autumn landscape was beautiful in the sunshine and it was warm enough to walk in T-shirts. Lunch was on the village green at The Lee, with the Italian run pub The Dog and Rabbit nearby. A beautiful autumn walk organised by Don, in perfect weather.
