17th November 2015: Swale to Teynham

This was a wet and windy walk along the Saxon Shore Way. The first part was rather industrial, but there was plenty of birdlife on the waterside with the sound of curlews (lapwings?) calling. After taking the shortcut across the new Sittingbourne bridge the scenery was more rural but unfortunately the rain started and it was very windy along the exposed seawall. We left the Saxon Shore Way at Conyer to make our way inland to Teynham station.
