29th November 2015: Watford to King’s Langley

We were very lucky with this walk as the forecast had been for wet weather all day but although it was very cloudy we actually had a dry day. From Watford tube station we walked through part of Cassiobury Park to reach the grand union canal which we followed all the way to Kings Langley.
Along the route we passed a lock keepers cottage with an unusual sign on the fence warning us of dangerous crocodiles and as we got closer to Kings Langley that was a lake on our left with a large model of the Loch Ness Monster.
On reaching Kings Langley we had afternoon tea in a popular cafe called Fred and Ginger before getting a train back to London.
