4th December 2016: Capital Ring, South Kenton to Hendon Park

Ten of us had a glorious clear sunny day for the 6 mile walk from South Kenton to Hendon Park, this being part of the London capital ring. We walked through Fryent country Park and had great views over London from the top of the hill where there is a white painted trig point originally used in mapping the land.

Then after some street walking we stopped at Birchen Grove garden centre for hot drinks before entering the Welsh harp open space and continuing our walk along the banks of the Brent Reservoir watching people sailing. The last part of the walk went through Hendon Park and we finished at Hendon Central tube station.
